There are so many baby products out there, it’s quite hard to know which to choose. I tend to take  a bit of a hands off approach to skincare – with my own skin I wash with water and moisturise, but that’s it, and have always had fairly good skin, so I do things similarly with my own children and try to avoid putting anything on them unless they need it.
Oriflame Cosmetics has re-launched its baby range with five new products, supposedly infused with cotton extract, which they claim is rich in omega fatty acids and helps condition sensitive and delicate skin.

The range includes a Baby Talc RRP £2.95 (75g), a Baby Hair & Body Wash RRP £4.95 (300ml), a Baby Moisturising Cream RRP £4.95 (150ml), a Baby Soap Bar RRP £1.85 and a Baby Oil RRP £4.95.

Having just had a baby, I was looking forward to trying these out and was actually pleasantly surprised. He’s had quite dry skin now and then so I put a bit of the moisturiser on and didn’t feel like I was putting anything too heavy on his skin. I used it myself too and found it light and fresh with a pleasant scent. Dexter only really needed a little so I used most of it on me and would certainly buy it again which is quite something for me as I find 90% of moisturisers too heavy and greasy. The body wash and talc are also nice: they are simple and seem mild, which is what you want for a baby’s skin. I haven’t used much of either of them but so far have been happy with them when I have.
