I am a keen lover of all things natural and organic, especially when it comes to what products I put on mine and my family’s skin, therefore I was very excited to be asked to review this product.
It’s a beeswax and olive oil based balm containing both Camomile and Baobab to help soothe, care and moisturise delicate dry and blemished skin making it perfect for mummies and their babies during pregnancy and early life.
I was immediately struck by the gentle scent of the product, very relaxing and not at all overpowering, making it suitable for mums-to-be that may be sensitive to smells during their pregnancy and also for delicate new baby skin.
I have been using the product in the lead up to the birth as a massage aid on the perineum area and also as a soothing pulse point treatment for relaxation. My toddler has had it used on the dry skin on her head and it has worked wonders to eliminate most of her flaky scalp. I will also be packing the balm in my hospital bag for use as a massage aid, pulse point relation treatment and lip salve. That’s the beauty of this product, one little tub has so many uses!
After birth the product can be used on the newborn as a general moisturiser, as a nappy cream, baby massage lotion and on both dry/blemished skin (especially on the scalp). I will also be able to use it on my nipples after breast-feeding and between feeds to sooth the area.
For £13 for 2x60ml tubs this product is amazing value, and as its certified by the soil association you have a guarantee that this product is contains a minimum of 70% organic ingredients, I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Available from The Natural Store for £13.00
