We absolutely love the beautiful rocking horses by Stevenson Brothers. These fabulous pieces are made by hand at their workshop in Kent and truly are unique works of art! These traditional toys are great fun for both children and adults alike and can be handed down through the generations as a family heirloom.
One of the latest products produced by Stevenson Brothers is the magical rocking unicorn. Only a handful of these have been made so far – the first was made with Dame Judi Dench for a charity auction in 2013. While a selection of wood grain or paint finishes are available along with a choice of leather, horse hair and blanket colours, it appears that the lighter and more neutral colours have been most popular. The pieces pictured here are painted with gold and silver flecks on a white base with silver-grey leather work alongside silver and nickel metal work. Each also features a hand-made detachable unicorn horn.
