This course focuses on expectant parents, and parents of young babies up to pre-school age. The intention is not to provide attendees with a certificate, but to prepare attendees for real life scenarios which could occur at any time. The course will be delivered by full certified trainers.
Topics to be covered:
* How to resuscitate a baby or toddler
* What to do if they choke
* How to treat burns
* How to deal with a high temperature
* How to recognise the signs of meningitis
* How to deal with a head injury
* What you need in your first aid kit
